John Richardson is Professor Emeritus at UCLA where he has taught graduate students training to become archivists and librarians. Since 2011, he has taught a graduate course entitled “Genealogical Information Resources” and serves as a volunteer administrator for the Richardson Surname project at FamilyTreeDNA. His 15th and latest book, Die Weber Familie (ITA Press, 2020), about the Weber family who left Germany in the early 19th century won the Ohio Genealogical Society’s 2021 Harrison Prize.
